if the house and large family are to be maintained. In order that the anxiety of the coming year may be lessened, will present subscribers and friends endeavour to find others who will show their interest in the scheme by giving regular financial support? There is much talk of reconstruction after the war, but where education is concerned it must begin now, for the simple reason that children, who are the citizens of to-morrow, will not wait, and every day counts in their development.

The grateful thanks of the Community are due to the many friends who have helped by work or gifts during the past year, especially to little Miss Ida Weigall and her father, who gave a party and toys to all the children at Christmas.
