‘CHILDREN IN RESIDENTIAL CARE 1914-1964’
Marjorie Seaver M.A., M.B.E.
When Miss Seaver died in 1997 she left notes of her fifty year’s experience in Residential Child Care.
[The manuscript, in Microsoft Works, was among her Caldecott material gathered by the late Anne Coningham Naylor, and given to the Caldecott Association by Anne's daughter, Georgina. The internal evidence indicates that this Overview page, notes, and some editing were provided by Caldecottian John Brown. In the notes reference is made to the manuscript having been written in 1966, i.e., in the two years after Marjorie Seaver retired. As the note above indicates, she died in 1997.]
