8. Muriel Morris and Effie Devenish
Miss Watson’s successor was Miss Morris; Mrs. Robson was followed by Miss Devenish. I have mentioned both in my musical story and it was for this that I mainly knew them. By all accounts, they were excellent teachers. Miss Morris stayed a relatively short time, then left to get married. Miss Devenish remained to become, like Betty Rayment, a pillar of stability in a changing Community.
