The Lewiston Art Park venue was very interesting because when there was a long break in the music, we could walk out to the Niagara River as it coursed through the Gorge at great speed. Across the river and downstream a distance on the Canadian side is the Shaw Festival Theatre at Niagara-on-the-Lake. The Theatre send a motor coach (bus) over to us and took us back to the Shaw Theatre. It was, and still is, a most charming theatre and is more suited to the works of William Shakespeare than the Los Angeles Greek Theatre - another of Diane Shumlin's grande faux pas: Sacre Bleu.
