Caldecott House now has a display to commemorate Dennis Wainwright whose father was an early supporter of Caldecott Community, moving home near to Caldecott House at Goff's Oak, Herts. Dennis was a day boy at Caldecott School from January 1926 before being admitted to the City of London School in September 1931. Living at home nearby, he could enjoy the CC grounds both during term times and holidays. See more about him on the CA website (from which the display was drawn).
He lived until age 103. In August 2024 his grand-daughter (with a friend) did a sponsored climb of Snowdon to raise funds for Caldecott Foundation.
