Some remember my brother Chis, who had his 70th birthday last week. He came to join me at Caldecott in early January 1961. Chris started in the Nursery soon after his fifth birthday. He later was in the main house, first up in the Junior Study and later down in the Senior Study boys. In early September 1967 he moved to the West Wing (Junior Senior boys) and started at Ashford Grammar School for boys (later called Norton Knatchbull School). See pic below, with Bing, Whitsun 1969, camping in Sussex.

Chris moved to the Colt House playroom in early January 1970, although initially still bedding in the West Wing (as I had done in my first term as a Colt House boy). He left Caldecott in late July 1974, followed by study in Canterbury at the University of Kent. He was a Caldecott lad for almost 13 years 7 months.
Some other children at Caldecott had stayed even longer, such as the late Robert Lawton (arrived at Hyde House very young in 1942, left Hatch in 1957).
