The fly in the ointment with taking pictures on this gig was that a large part of the on-stage action required the services of the musicians. Moreover, I had to rush to the rear of the theatre with tripod etc., and could only duplicate the same subject matter time after time.

I took the photos with a Minolta 35mm SLR analog camera with a 300 mm telephoto lens. The photos were taken on Kodak Ektachrome color slides, which I recently projected onto a white wall in my sitting room. I then used my Nikon D5100 35mm SLR with a Nikon DX 18-55 mm lends to photograph the images on the wall and then transfer them to my computer. The original shots were taken when there was a long break in the music, and I would go to the back of the theatre with a tripod etc.

I hope this shot of Michael Beint taken with a 300 mm telephoto lens during a break in the music travels well.

John Nettleton, as the Melancholy Jaques, always brought the house down with the 7 ages of man opus. All these guys were excellent actors.

Another shot of the old Duke plus the seated Melancholy Jaques just prior to the "Seven Ages of Man speech:" "All the World's a stage etc."
